Summer Reading and "Maker" Time is Right Around the Corner!
 

 
 

 

Once again this summer, the Baltimore County Public Schools and the Baltimore County Public Library are partnering to encourage all of our students to read this summer!  For details about the summer reading program and how it works, see this link.

 

 

 


PHMS's first ever Battle of the Books teams competed against Parkville Middle and Pine Grove Middle teams on Friday night, April 21st.   Both the Book-Lovin' Panthers and the Baltimore Bookworms teams performed wonderfully, with the PHMS Baltimore Bookworms team capturing second place. We are proud of our first-ever Battle of the Books teams and their accomplishments! 

 

To prepare for next year's battle, interested students should read books from the MD Black-Eyed Susan grades 6-9 nominees for 2017-18.  The list is available here.

 

              

PHMS Lunchtime Book clubs started this year on Tuesday, October 6th.
