Intramurals will begin on Wednesday, September 7th

 Intramurals are voluntary  after school sports activities that help enhance a child’s skill development. Intramurals are normally held Wednesdays from 3:00-4:00

There are Behavioral Expectations that all students will need to follow to participate:
  1. Report to intramurals by 3:00pm
  2. Respect self and other students at ALL TIMES
  3. Demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times
  4. Respect equipment
  5. Follow all rules and guidelines set forth by the teacher-in-charge
  6. STUDENTS MUST BE PICKED UP BY 4:00PM

 

Those who have difficulty following the above expectations will be removed from intramurals for a specified period of time. The consequences for the first offense will be 2 weeks; second offense will be 30 days; and third will be for the year.

Sept. 7 – Oct. 19  Soccer

Oct. 26 – November 2 Basketball

Nov. 9th & 10th  Turkey Trot            (Rain Dates 11/15 & 11/17)

Nov. 30 – Jan. 25 Table Tennis

Feb. 1 – Feb. 22  Circuit Training

Mar. 1 – Mar. 22  Volleyball

Mar. 28 – Apr. 6 (Tuesday- Thursday 2 hours each day) All-star Volleyball Try-outs and practices (Only 8th Graders)

April 19 – May- 31 Ultimate Frisbee

Please make sure that your child verifies that intramurals are being held on the day he/she plans to stay. Intramurals may not be held before a holiday or may be canceled because of inclement weather.
